02 about me
02 portfolio
I love art. I love collecting art and if my walls weren’t filled (and if I didn't already have too many pieces leaning against the walls), I would never stop. I have a passion for connecting with artists and surrounding myself with unique and meaningful works that impact my heart, mind and soul, and add to the beauty of my home.
During quarantine, most of us did not get dressed up or travel. Instead, we moved, renovated homes, and downsized offices. When catching up with friends, many of them told me, “the furniture is in, now all we need is art” (and then I was asked to find it). Designers asked if I could source art for projects. I was always happy to help and turning my hobby into a business happened naturally.
I feel strongly that art should not be an after-thought; it should be part of the process. Sometimes, it should even come first. The perfect painting might not fit over a patterned sofa on a prewar city wall. It might need something neutral and low profile instead of a larger, textured piece. Or maybe an entryway needs no furnishings at all if a series of striking photographs are the focal point.
Background
I’ve been an attorney for 16 years, first working in the field of high net worth family law, and then expanding my practice to serve as a general advisor to successful, creative, individuals in all areas of their personal and professional lives. I have represented artists, gallery owners, and art collectors who have expanded my knowledge and convinced me to pursue my passion. As an undergraduate student at Penn, art history classes were my favorite, and even when I was working around the clock as a law firm associate, I found the time to sneak out of my office to take classes at MOMA.
I live in New York and Westhampton Beach with my husband, Aaron, our daughter, Eliza, and our dog, Bowie. In our downtime, Aaron is cooking, Eliza is learning tiktok dances, and I am planning trips around art fairs or scrolling through #contemporaryafricanart on Instagram.

URBAN SPACES
For better or worse, apartments come with fixed design elements. Open spaces, small rooms, crown molding, large windows, darkness and light, are all considerations when making art and design choices. We can accentuate features or create interesting contrasts, each of which allow us to express our individual style. Even more so than a custom upholstered sofa or dining table, a striking work of art can define the space.
COASTAL AND SUBURBAN HOMES
With more space and unobstructed views, light and room proportions tend to lead the art selection process. Large rooms with expansive walls may allow for larger pieces, but they can also help separate multi-purpose spaces. Kids rooms, such as bedrooms and basements, can be transformed over time by changing what hangs on the walls (instead of the furniture). Features of older homes can be accentuated by art and furnishings, while homes that are similar to those around it can be distinguished by unique choices.
